Leads methodological discipline, ethical research practice and policy-facing interpretation across every Gurjas engagement. Former Senior Project Associate for national R&D coordination at iHub-AWaDH, IIT Ropar — a ₹110 crore DST NM-ICPS Technology Innovation Hub — and currently associated with an ICSSR-sponsored Minor Research Project on macro-financial resilience. His scholarship — 10 peer-reviewed articles and 4 book chapters — appears in Cities, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, the International Journal of Social Economics and other Scopus/WoS-indexed journals, with 204 Google Scholar citations (h-index 8) and an SSRN author ranking in the top 3.2%.

As a Springer Nature Reviewing Editor, he has 63 Web of Science peer-review records covering 56 manuscripts, including work for Scientific Reports, npj Urban Sustainability and Humanities & Social Sciences Communications. Recent recognition includes the ANZRSAI Best Conference Paper Award (2025).
